About Me

I am a graduate of Cypress Health Institute located in Santa Cruz, CA.  Like every therapist, I want the best possible massage for you.  The intake and goal setting for the session are important steps in the process.  Communication is very important before, during, and after a massage.  You know your body best.

In line with the goals, my style is to go where the tissues allow me.  This can be deeper where needed, especially when requested.  I also like to include Polarity Therapy when needed, which consists of gentle rocks, holds, and stretches.  Polarity Therapy is thought to unblock and recharge the flow of life energy and realign unbalanced energy. 

I enjoy being a teacher's assistant at Cypress Health Institute.  It is energizing to me to keep up on fresh techniques.

Kirk Samis is beyond being a great massage therapist.  He had healing powers. I went in due to debilitating pain, he gave me a complete body reset and I have been pain free since.   I don't know where he got his training but his skills are above and beyond the typical Massage.

I had a deep tissue massage by Kirk Sami's and I was very impressed with the results I got. I will definitely go back to him soon.  He was very intuitive and had enough pressure to actually break up the knots and smooth out the muscle fibers...

We had 4 of us celebrating a 50th birthday and used the rooftop patio in between which was amazing. I had a deep tissue massage with Kirk and he was great about checking in to make sure the pressure was okay. I had a great massage as did the others. We will be back next time we are in town!

I had immediate results. Stiffness in neck and back released about 90%. Sciatica still there slightly. Morning stiffness in back also greatly reduced. Have already referred Kirk to a few friends.

Kirk is an excellent therapist and pays attention to requests and details. I enjoyed the extras like aromatherapy and Polarity.
